National Open College (NOC)

Nepal Open College (NOC) established in 2000 by a group of academic devotees and professionals having spent decades in teaching expedition, is a pioneer college. It always strives to continue introducing experts and scholars keeping in view the present and future national and international assessment for the ever-changing and competitive job market. It promotes access to learning that will increase educational and employment opportunities for all the students including the historically disadvantaged. It supports transformation and readdresses and aims to provide an enabling environment for all its students to ensure individual intellectual development, an awareness of social responsibility, and sound ethical practice in our diverse society.

After decades of professional services in government and non-government institutions, a group of academic workers realized the need of establishing a college to address the current issues of globalization and privatization through quality human resources development. Education is the most effective tool for socio-economic consciousness enhancement. With this visualization, NOC College is established. To initiate pioneer academic institutions, the college found Pokhara University, the most open and creative option available inside the national boundary. So, NOC College is affiliated with Pokhara University and is committed to providing a quality educational environment.
