Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted tuition in core subjects, including but not limited to language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies, following the curriculum guidelines for Grades 1-3.
• Assist students with their daily homework assignments, ensuring comprehension of concepts and reinforcing skills taught in the classroom.
• Identify and address specific learning needs of individual students, adapting teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Regularly assess students' academic progress through informal assessments and observations.
• Teach and reinforce effective study skills and time management strategies to promote independent learning and organizational skills.
• Establish clear and open communication with parents to provide updates on students' academic progress, areas of improvement, and any concerns.
• Motivate and encourage students to develop a positive attitude towards learning, building their confidence and self-esteem.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tuition activities with the school's curriculum, ensuring consistency in instruction.
• Create a safe and supportive learning environment during tuition sessions, addressing any concerns related to students' well-being promptly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Previous experience in tutoring or providing academic support to elementary school students (Grades 1-3).
• Strong knowledge of elementary school curriculum and teaching methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and the ability to tailor teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.

Working Hours: 3-4 pm or 4-5 pm.
