Team Leader

Required: (Central officer based, Kathmandu)

 

Roles and Responsibilities: The team leader will be responsible to lead and overseeing the Hamro Sahakarya project under the supervision of executive director. The team leader will work closely with project teams, partners, consultants and stakeholders to ensure project achievements, compliances, and impact.

 

The other key responsibilities are:

  • Lead the team to overall organizational development to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Design, monitor, & implement prevention of harmful social norms programs.
  • Coordinate with partners, consultants, and stakeholders to implement the activities.
  • Strengthen strategic partnerships with concerned stakeholders and relevant institutions to enhance program impact.
  • Monitor project activities and subsequent results to achieve project objectives.
  • Track the budget expense and compliance with finance team.
  • Communicate with the funding partner for effective implementation.
  • Lead the final reporting of the project.
  • Contribute to the organization for other fund receiving initiatives.

 

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge:

  • A master’s degree or equivalent in Development Studies, Sociology, Gender Studies, Law, Policy, Political Studies or a related field.
  • Minimum five years of working experiences in NGO/INGO sector in a similar position with a focused on Gender-based Violence Project.
  • Influential leadership and team management skills.
  • Problem solving and good communication skills.
  • Excellent project management and reporting skills.
  • Ability to travel in the project implementation area.
