Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that cater to the individual needs and interests of each child.
- Creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence.
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Observing and assessing students’ progress, and using this information to adjust teaching strategies and activities accordingly.
- Collaborating with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity and coherence in the curriculum.
- Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment that complies with health and safety regulations.
- Communicating effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Upholding the school’s values and policies, and serving as a positive role model for students.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the school.
Qualifications:
- Minimum +2 degree for montessori teacher.
- Previous experience working with young children in a classroom setting.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and educational theories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and learning.
