Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that cater to the individual needs and interests of each child.
• Creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence.
• Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Observing and assessing students’ progress, and using this information to adjust teaching strategies and activities accordingly.
• Collaborating with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity and coherence in the curriculum.
• Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
• Maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment that complies with health and safety regulations.
• Communicating effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress, behavior, and any concerns.
• Upholding the school’s values and policies, and serving as a positive role model for students.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school.

Qualifications:

• Minimum +2 degree for montessori teacher.
• Previous experience working with young children in a classroom setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and educational theories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and learning.
