Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant and progressive work experience in System and Network Engineering.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (IT)/ Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Experience with networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, Subnetting, VLAN, VPN, STP, VRRP, MLAG)
• Hands-on experience on Router, Switches, Servers, Network firewalls, VPN(IPsec, SSL), Load Balancers, Web Application Firewalls.
• Hands-on experience of virtualization and storage(VMware, XEN, SAN, NAS)
• Solid understanding of WEB Application and Reverse Proxy Servers.
• Knowledge of Docker, Swarm, Ansible, Terraform and similar DevOps tools.
• Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL.
• Experience in shell scripting, python scripting.
• Knowledge on web vulnerabilities and security.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud computing(AWS, GCP) services and technologies.
• Basic knowledge on VOIP technologies.(Asterisk, Elastix, GSM gateways, IP-Phones)
• Additional certification (CCNA/CCNP/RHCSA/RHCE/MCSE/AWS) wil be an added advantage.

Job Description:

• Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux/Windows Servers and applications in a virtualization-based infrastructure.
• Work with a team of System and Network Engineers to monitor the existing system infrastructure, backbone network, application delivery network, applications, and services.
• Proactively manage and install network routers, switches, servers, and firewall systems.
• Administration of windows server and maintaining Active Directory, DNS, NPS, File and Storage, DHCP.
• Participate in designing the network, system infrastructure, and Data Center management.
• Develop and maintain scripts, automated processes, and documentation for repeatable design patterns, to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time
• Building and maintaining continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and managing the infrastructure for development, staging, and production environments.
• Maintain proper backup and recovery of the system.
• Upgrade systems with new releases and patches.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for connectivity, support, and infra-related incidents in the production environment
• Document the cases/issues, the troubleshooting methodologies, and the resolution
• Serve as someone who could be relied upon in the event of escalation and emergency.
