Job Description

• Receive, inspect, and verify the quantity and quality of incoming medical supplies and equipment against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisor and initiate returns or claims as necessary.
• Properly store and organize medical supplies and equipment according to designated locations, expiration dates, and specific storage requirements (e.g., temperature control).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using a computerized inventory management system.
• Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Issue medical supplies and equipment to authorized personnel upon request, verifying proper documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storeroom environment.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and protocols for handling medical supplies and equipment.
• May assist with preparing outgoing shipments to other departments or healthcare facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3-4 year of experience in a storeroom or warehouse setting, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift and maneuver moderately heavy objects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and willing to learn new inventory management software.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
