Job Description:
- Assisting the surgical team in preparing the patient for surgery by completing necessary preoperative procedures, such as taking vital signs and preparing the patient for anesthesia
- Providing support to the surgical team by handing them the necessary instruments, supplies, and medications during the procedure
- Monitoring the patient's vital signs and alerting the surgical team to any changes or concerns
- Maintaining a sterile field during the surgery to reduce the risk of infection
- Assisting with postoperative care, such as dressing wounds and monitoring the patient's vital signs and comfort level
- Documenting the patient's care and communicating with other members of the healthcare team as needed
- Staying up to date with the latest advances in surgical procedures, patient care, and OT equipment.
