Job Description:

1.   Timely preparation & filing of monthly excise returns with the department of excise & VAT Return to Inland revenue department (IRD)

2.  Providing the sales report & raw material costing to the department head in the monthly basis for finalization of books of accounts

3.  Have been actively involved in providing the necessary workings & documents to the head office for income tax assessment

4. Reconciliation of vendor & customer accounts by verifying the statements and transactions as well as Bank Reconciliation Statement

5.   Custom purchases with the VAT Return and identify the differences,

6.   Making Purchase entries in the books of account through Goods Received Note (GRN) & ensure all the supporting documents are attached to the Purchase Invoice

7.  Ensuring GRN is properly raised by cross verifying the quantity & amount in GRN with vendor invoices.

8.  Checking the registers as required by the tax authorities including purchase register, sales register.

9. Proper filing of the Purchase Invoice along with the supporting documents including vendor invoices, goods received note, bhansar pragyapan patra etc.

10.  Involved in Physical verification of raw materials & store/spare items on Quarterly basis

11. Perform other duties as delegated by the senior management from time to time.

Requirement & Qualification:

1. 8-10 years of Experience in the Accounting Sector
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills
3. Excellent analytical Skills
4. Preference would be given to the candidate from the cement industry.
    

Qualification: Graduate / Postgraduate / CA dropouts
