Job Description:

  • Develop and execute the overall sales strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Establish sales objectives and create actionable plans to accomplish them.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to motivate the team to achieve sales targets.
  • Set individual and team sales goals and monitor performance regularly.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance the company's market presence.
  • Lead negotiations with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to evaluate performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for the management team.
  • Implement effective sales tracking systems to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Conduct market research and gather insights to make informed business decisions.
  • Develop and manage the sales department budget effectively.
  • Foster strong relationships with key customers and maintain customer satisfaction.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (at least 10-15 years) in sales management, with a strong background in the plastic pipe manufacturing industry or related sectors.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills with a track record of managing and motivating a successful sales team.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the plastic pipe industry, including materials, applications, and competitors.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Willingness to relocate/travel as needed.
