Duties and Responsibilities:
- Exploration of the travel market of Nepal and sectors operated by Himalaya Airlines
- Identify the prospect agents in travel market, motivate and persuade these agents and convert them into business partners
- Daily follow up via calls and visits for new and existing agencies for business development
- Receive/collect business agent’s feedback, complaints and requests and communicate them to the Manager, and follow up for their resolution
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Sales Visit Report
- Conduct market research to know about labor clearance and future business prospects and current market trends
- Monitor our flight regularly and make sales call and suggest for fare revision as per market demand
- Contribute and develop marketing plans and strategies.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university with experience in the related field
- Proficient in computer, especially in Microsoft Office Package
- Proficiency in different GDS, basic flight terminology and technical knowledge of ticketing is an added skill
- Must have good public relations and positive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Nepali
- Ability to learn new computer-based programs and adapt work culture
- Open for new challenges.
