Other Specification:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role within        the hospitality industry
  • Bachelors in Hotel Management or Business Administration
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and mentor the team. Able to lead, train and schedule staff duties
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, financial management, and customer service principles. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in food and beverage (F&B) management having good knowledge of cocktails, coffee, and various cuisines (menu innovation, food and drink pairing, quality control, creativity, and presentation)
  • Familiarity with a range of computer software programs, including MS Office, restaurant management software, and POS systems
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to calculate food costs and maintain inventory
  • Have good PR and the ability to make sales calls and bring in business
  • Creative, Intuitive, self-motivated, and great attention to details
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

 

Note: Leadership experience of 3-5 years is highly preferred.

 

Job Description:

As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall success of the establishment by maintaining high standards of food quality, customer service, and operational efficiency. Your strong leadership skills and business acumen will play a crucial role in achieving financial targets and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning and high-quality service
  • Recruit, train, and oversee restaurant employees
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance staff performance
  • Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and handle any personnel issues promptly and professionally.
  • Develop staff schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure the best quality products at competitive prices.
  • Monitor food, supplies, and equipment stock levels, predict needs, and manage ordering
  • Manage budgets and implement cost control measures to reduce expenses
  • Handle customer needs, feedback, and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationship with regular customers
  • Enforce compliance with health, safety, sanitation standards among employees
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to design and update menus, considering current food trends and customer preferences.
  • Process payroll and maintain accurate records
  • Provide regular reports on financial performance, inventory, sales results and productivity
  • Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation, maintaining high-quality standards
  • Assist with marketing events.
