Job Description:

The Receptionist will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to visitors, students, and staff. They will handle inquiries, manage phone calls, and assist with administrative tasks as needed. The Receptionist will ensure that all visitors have a pleasant experience and receive the necessary assistance promptly and professionally.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor.

- Answer and direct phone calls in a courteous and efficient manner.

- Provide accurate information to visitors regarding the institution’s services, programs, and facilities.

- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing meeting rooms.

- Receive and sort daily mail and deliveries.

- Maintain a neat and organized reception area.

- Assist with basic administrative tasks as requested.

- Handle inquiries from students, staff, and the public with professionalism and patience.

 

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

- Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role is preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Pleasant and professional demeanor.

- Basic knowledge of office equipment (e.g., fax machines, printers).
