Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Cypress for web applications to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, identify potential risks, and develop appropriate test plans and strategies.
• Perform test case reviews and participate in test design discussions, providing valuable input to improve test effectiveness and efficiency.
• Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.
• Analyze test results, identify and report defects, track issues, and verify fixes.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, tools, and trends in QA automation and software testing.
• Continuously improve the overall testing process and suggest enhancements to increase efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software testing and QA automation, with a focus on Selenium or Cypress.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with test automation frameworks, such as JUnit, TestNG, Mocha, or Jasmine.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for deliverables.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with API testing tools, such as Postman or RestAssured.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools, such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes.
