Job Description

1. Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the company's technology strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the executive team on emerging technologies and their potential impact on the business.

 

2. Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Project Management team to contribute positively to project completion on time.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

 

3. Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of technical projects from conception to completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

 

4. Technology Infrastructure:

  • Manage and optimize the technology infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and implement best practices in technology infrastructure management.

 

5. Vendor Management:

  • Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and partners.
  • Negotiate and oversee contracts, ensuring value for the organization.

 

6. Cybersecurity Measures:

  • Implement robust cybersecurity measures within the framework of the core insurance solution to protect sensitive customer data and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

 

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree in management (MBA) shall be preferred.

 

Essential Technical Skills and Experience:

  • 5 Years of proven experience in similar leadership roles with responsibilities ranging from handling and Implementing Technical Projects in a similar field.
  • Demonstrated success in managing technical teams and delivering complex projects.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or others commonly used in insurance technology, with a specific focus on Core Insurance solutions shall be preferred.
  • Experience in developing and optimizing digital platforms for insurance products, including mobile apps and online portals
  • Understanding of insurtech solutions prevalent in the Indian and Asian markets, with the ability to seamlessly integrate these solutions with the Core Insurance platform.

  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

 

Strategic Vision:

  • Ability to envision and execute a technology strategy that aligns with the company's business goals.

 

Problem-solving:

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.

 

Industry Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of the life insurance industry and the regulatory landscape.

 

Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications in technology leadership and project management are a plus.
