Education:
- An Advanced University (Master’s) Degree preferably in human resources management, public administration, public sector reform, political science, political economy, or other relevant discipline is required.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in preferably in human resources management, public administration, public sector reform, political science, political economy, or other relevant discipline with an additional 2 years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of an Advanced University Degree.
- A postgraduate qualification in policing would be a major asset.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years (7 years with a Bachelor’s degree) of professional experience leading human resource development for the police or other complex public service delivery projects will be required.
- At least 2 years of experience in organizational development and training would be a significant asset.
- Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies in security sector service delivery would be an added advantage.
- A strong understanding of risk management, notably safeguarding, and experience of multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams must be demonstrated.
- Previous experience working with UNOPS or in FCDO-funded projects in implementing similar projects is an asset.
- Experience in the use of Google Suite software applications is desirable.
Language: Fluency in writing, reading, and speaking Nepali and English is required.
