Academic Qualification:
- Bachelor or equivalent in management or relevant discipline with minimum 4-5 years of experience in the slaughterhouse and/or processing industries.
Age:
- Not exceeding 45 years as on application deadline.
Required Competency:
- Working knowledge of buck/goat processing, food safety procedures will be highly preferred.
- Experience to implement safety procedure of processing and/or slaughterhouse will be preferred.
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate in Nepali & English language.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Proficient computer skills such as Microsoft.

- Candidates having at least 4-5 years’ experience shall be given preference.
- Candidates having own two-wheeler and its license shall be given preference.
Job Description:
- Responsible for day-to-day supervision of the slaughterhouse functions such as receipt of animals, slaughtering, post-slaughter functions such as dispatch, waste management, delivery, etc., including record-keeping, reporting, and marketing functions.
- Understand the slaughtering requirements to meet production schedules, increase efficiencies, and meet the standard procedures of the slaughterhouse.
- Deploy and rotate slaughterhouse personnel in the most effective manner to optimize efficiency and facilitate production as per schedules.
- To overlook the intake, supply, and delivery of the meat and meat products to the clients in time.
- Ensure that daily reporting is accurately completed and recorded as required.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for process optimization and/or reduce problems such as product holding, mishandling, delayed dispatch and delivery, etc.
- Support Operation Head and participate in the planning and implementation of process improvements, monitor improvement metrics, and respond to unfavorable trends.
- Work closely with the meat inspector for quality assurance to ensure food safety, sanitation, and the consumer’s health.
- Mentor, coach, and train slaughtering employees; provide consistent feedback concerning strengths and areas in need of improvement.
- Follow and promote all safety initiatives (i.e., wear and ensure others wear appropriate PPE in areas where mandatory), helping to maintain a zero-accident culture both in the slaughterhouse and in transport.
