Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Participate in the creation and deployment of web applications, mainly using Node.js and Angular.
• Teamwork: Coordinate with different team members like project managers, engineers, and designers to build effective and efficient software solutions.
• Code Quality: Maintain and improve code quality, perform bug fixes, and ensure the overall stability, security, and scalability of the applications.
• Planning & Strategy: Take part in project planning and requirements discussions to align with organisational objectives.

• Mentorship: Offer technical guidance to junior developers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of 4 years in web development, with a strong focus on Node.js and Angular.

Technical Skills:

• Solid understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Practical experience with RESTful APIs and MySQL.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Knowledge of data structures in MySQL and MongoDB, and ability to write optimised queries.
• Skills in Software & System Architecture and Design.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Basic understanding of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in simple terms.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, and project management tools like JIRA.
