Job Description

A. Revenue Achievement:

1. Prepare and execute Business Plan encompassing Sales & Marketing functions. Prepare future growth plans for the company. Propose annual sales budget for the product segments and develop a plan to achieve it.
2. Manage accounts and increase profitability at each account.
3. Analyse customer and competitor data to support sales strategy and marketing intelligence.
4. Conduct cross selling of company’s products and services.

 

B. Market Development:

1. Identify and develop new accounts. Brand Building and market share gain
2. Develop a pipeline for target accounts.
3. Attend the market quality complaints of products by analysing the complaints, source and recommend
for corrective actions. Conduct materials tests internally and externally.
4. Support the factory team in product development.

 

C. Product Pricing:

1. Implement pricing strategy in order to achieve sales targets (volume, revenue, gross margin).
2. Monitor and ensure timely collection of payments and tax forms.

 

D. Customer Relationship Management:

1. Understand customer needs for industrial minerals.
2. Provide technical support in terms of product range, grade selection, samples and literatures.
3. Maintain and build business relationships with customers.
4. Liaise with the Plant/Logistics to ensure availability of finished products against the relevant Sales Order.
5. Ensure speedy handling & closure of complaints.

 

E. Scheme Management:

1. Introduce various schemes for consumers/accounts and sales team.
2. Ensure proper ROI on the cost.

 

F. Managing People:

1. Manage subordinates’ task and responsibility allocation. 2. Manage performance of subordinates.
3. Retaining and Developing Talent Pool.

 

G. Sales Administration /Reports:

1. Generate weekly and monthly reports on sales.
2. Generate and update customer dossiers.
3. Regularly fill up and update call reports, monthly reports, sampling pipeline, complaint.

 

At least 3 year’s of experience as Sales Manager/NSM in pipe/hardware or any relevant field.
