Education:
- Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in a field of culture, cultural policies, cultural management or a related field.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience in the field of culture or a related field.
Skills and competencies:
- Ability to collect, synthesise and analyse information from various sources.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, paying close attention to detail and quality of work.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a multi-cultural environment and to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good IT skills, including knowledge of MS software (Word, Excel etc.).
Languages:
- Excellent knowledge (spoken and written) of English and Nepalese.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Work Experience
- Experience in UNESCO, United Nations, international organizations, or in culture policy institutions.
- Experience in advocacy, resources and partnership mobilization.
Skills and competencies
- Familiarity with the political and scientific context of Nepal.
- Ability to elaborate and manage programmes/projects in the field of cultural heritage.
