  • At least 10 years of experience in Human Resources/ Administration with 5 years of supervisory role as a team leader in a related field
  • Fluency in English and Nepali Language with excellent Nepali Typing Skills.

 

Job Description:

 

Organizational Development & Learning and Development 

  • To contribute to developing bylaws, policies, guidelines, and other organizational documents of the company
  • To ensure that the human resources affairs of the organization have legally complied with labor law and the standard of the parent company
  • To ensure that the organization’s human resources policies and guidelines are fully implemented in the organization
  • To lead the department for the ensuing quality of the human resources meet with the expectation of organizational benchmarks
  • To contribute to organizational sustainability by promoting organizational culture and best practices
  • To support operations and training teams in conducting staff capacity development activities
  • To work with a team for developing the most effective learning and developing techniques and strategies.

 

Performance Management :

  • To work closely with managers and supervisors for developing the job descriptions, KRA and KPI
  • To provide the necessary support to the operations team for completing the performance evaluation process at the restaurant level
  • Organize an employee recognition program on a quarterly and yearly basis in coordination with operations teams.

 

Recruitment, Selection, and Socialization:

  • To publicize the vacancy, screen applications, and organize tests and interviews for shortlisted candidates in cooperation with the line manager
  • To ensure that Devyani International promotes and maintains a high standard of professional recruitment practice at the restaurant level and RSC level
  • Complete all the documentation as per the legal compliance before appointing the staff and maintain the records in the HRIS system.

 

Liaison with Government Agencies:

  • To maintain the relationship with labor offices and other related government agencies
  • To complete the business registration and renew at all municipal and ward levels
  • To maintain the relationship with concerned ministries, departments, police, and concerned authority
  • To make necessary correspondence with Provident Fund, Social Security Fund, and Citizen Investment Trust.

 

Industrial Relationship:

  • To maintain good relations with trade unions and organize monthly and other necessary meetings with them
  • To make timely communications with management and concerned government authorities regarding labor issues.

 

Staff Welfare and Grievances Management:

  • Organize a picnic and staff retreat program as per the policy of the company and provide necessary input to staff welfare events
  • To collect insurance claims and ensure timely reimbursement from the insurance company
  • To receive an appeal statement from staff and analyze the legal and humanitarian aspects of grievances.

 

Administrative Management:

  • To verify the attendance record and liaise with the finance department for ensuring payroll management
  • To manage the necessary booking according to the travel plans and to provide the necessary support to the guests
  • To verify the purchase invoices which are related to the staff’s consumption
  • To perform necessary communication and coordination with the outsourcing company.
