  • BBA with at least 1-year experience of working in the HR Department at a reputed organization or MBA in HRM
  • Familiarity with HR functions such as recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) software.
  • Understanding of labor laws and regulations in Nepal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. 
  • Age Range: Candidates aged between 21 to 35 years old.
  • Commitment: Demonstrated commitment to working with an NGO and contributing to the organization's mission of providing quality eye care services to the community.
  • Location: Willingness to work at Biratnagar Eye Hospital, Biratnagar, on a contract basis.

Job Description

  • Responsible for assisting in the management of human resources activities at Biratnagar Eye Hospital, including recruitment, selection, orientation, training, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures regarding human resource management, as well as local labor laws and regulations. Implement and update HR policies as necessary.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection process, including advertising vacancies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and facilitating the hiring process for various positions within the hospital.
  • Coordinate training and development programs for staff to enhance their skills and competencies. .
  • Assist in the performance management process, including setting performance objectives, conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback to employees, and identifying areas for improvement or development.
  • Handle employee relations issues by providing guidance, counseling, and support to employees. 
  • Manage contracts for employees working on a contract basis, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions of employment and facilitating contract renewals or terminations as needed.
