Position: GBV Coordinator

Project: Strengthening child helplines (1098) for prevention of and response to child protection and GBV issues and operationalizing effective referrals.

Reports to: MEAL Manager, Executive Director

Involvement in the project: 100%

Salary and Benefits: Basic Salary 60,000 plus benefits as per organizational rule.

Tentative Tenure: 12 Months

Person Specification

• Team Leader, able to liaise and collaborate with different stakeholders, someone that connects, has proven people and coordination skills in alliance work.
• Proven experience writing donor reports and annual plans in English for the development sector, preferably in the protection from violence domain.
• Excellent proficiency in the local language(s) and intercultural skills for working in an international setting. 
• Proven experience of mainstreaming of gender and social inclusion and application of critical and intersectional gender transformative approach and pro-feminism.
• Proven work experience coordinating programme-related on Gender Based Violence (GBV) and GESI.
• Excellent professional and ethical standards aligning with those of the respective Alliance members and partners.
• Preferably Masters degree in related subject.
• At least 2 plus years of experience in the relevant field.

This is a full-time position, linked to the duration of the program starting in February 2024 and finishing in January 2025.
