Job Description:

We seek a talented and versatile Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join our team. Your role will be pivotal in developing and maintaining cutting-edge web solutions, primarily focusing on WordPress platforms. This position is open to candidates based in Nepal, offering the flexibility to work remotely and be part of an international team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain websites using WordPress, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Customize and build new WordPress themes from PSD designs, ensuring they are responsive and mobile-friendly.
• Work on WooCommerce development, including customising internals and hooks.
• Utilize various development frameworks/toolkits such as Elementor, Bootstrap, Foundation, SASS, etc.
• Develop and maintain code for various programming languages including PHP, HTML, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
• Integrate and work with different programming frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, React, Angular, Meteor, Node.js).
• Be familiar with tools like GIT, SASS, Grunt, and XDebug.
• Engage in database management and optimisation using SQL.
• Implement and customise APIs, including the WordPress Rest API.

Duties:

1 .Backend coding (Must Have)

Requires solid knowledge of the following programming languages: PHP, JavaScript, SQL and related platform tools for templating and plugin development. This will be required to allow for customisations of current and future platforms.

2. Website production and maintenance (Must have)

Requires solid knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git and the use of the WordPress platform and a working knowledge of other platforms such as Shopify, Big Commerce etc.

3. Code management (Must have)

Requires good knowledge of code management platforms such as GIT, Bit bucket and other code repositories. Know how to use and to implement code deployment with source control platforms.

4. Server management (Good to have but can be trained)

Requires a sound knowledge of WHM, cPanel, AWS console and other server management systems to assist in and maintain ATMs servers.

5. UI/UX design and development (Must have intermediate knowledge but can be trained.)

Requires a solid knowledge of modern web based techniques for page layout. Using frameworks, building tools and custom hand coded methods to achieve the required design and layouts.

6. Digital Assets creation and management (Must have intermediate knowledge but can be trained)

Requires sound knowledge of graphical platforms to edit, cutup and delivery digital assets for the builds. For example photoshop, illustrator, adobe xd etc. 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in WordPress development, with proficiency in WooCommerce.
• At least 1 year of experience with a development framework/toolkit.
• Minimum 3 years of programming experience in PHP, HTML, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Laravel, CodeIgniter, React, Angular, Meteor, Node.js is highly desirable.
• Experience with GIT, SASS, Grunt, XDebug, OO Programming, SQL, and APIs.
• Previous work with Shopify, Magento, or Big Commerce is a plus.
• Proven ability to build and customise WordPress themes and plugins.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
