Station: based in Country Office with frequent field travel

• Finance Officer will work under supervision of Finance Manager; he/she will ensure that all financial record of assigned projects and partners are appropriately maintained, and that all procedures and controls are implemented as per ADRA and Donor Policy.
• Preparation of vouchers and ensure that all transactions are properly accounted for and duly approved.
• Preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Support to develop project specific budgets.
• Partner visit for financial monitoring and partner staff capacity building.

Qualification and Competencies:

• Bachelor of business studies or business administration (master’s degree is desirable) for a recognized university.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in I/NGOs and multi-donor agencies and multi-currency
• knowledge of Sun System Accounting Software is an additional advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in financial and procurement management.
• Good understanding of the laws of Nepal related to tax, insurance.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in teams and self-management skills; Self-motivated and capable of managing work independently.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Nepali.
