Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management or equivalent (Essential)
  • Knowledge about ERP and Financial/ Accounting Software (Essential)
  • Fluency in MS office (Essential).

 

Experience:

  • Proven  accounting experience minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting and Finance department (Essential)
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles (Essential)
  • Substantial knowledge of Banking norms and should have exposure in dealing with Bank  (Essential)
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills (Desirable).

Job Description:

  • Create invoices for funding claims and school supplied services
  • Follow up on receivables and reporting any issues to the Finance Manager
  • Assist the Finance Manager in the review of performance against budgets and plans, identifying variations and producing reports and analysis as required
  • Monthly preparation of Bank reconciliation of statements 
  • Review finance policies and ensure they are in keeping Nepali laws and regulations
  • Timely tax remittances to the tax office
  • Billing and collection of pupils’ deposits/fees and other dues, issuing receipts for the same
  • Process payment to suppliers, contractors, rent, etc. for the entire school property 
  • Preparation of the school’s annual budget alongside monthly, quarterly, annual statements
  • Maintain accurate records for all daily transactions
  • Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Participate in financial audits and resolve the issues raised by internal and statutory auditors
  • Assist Finance Manager  in other day to day works
  • Comply with the legal rules and regulation such as IRD.
