• Finance / Accounting major and certified, e.g. ACCA/ CPA.
• 5 year in hotel accounting with at least 2 years in a similar position with an international hotel.
• High degree of self-motivation and ambition.
• Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal
• A keen eye for detail and a desire to probe further into data
• Ability to stick to time constraints.

Job Description:

• Overall management of the accounting records and financial reports of the hotel ensuring legal and tax compliance with company, statutory and fiscal requirements.
• Oversee all financial control activities, including the review and analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and disclosures
• Provide executive management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policy-making and financial strategizing
• Maintain a system of internal controls, which will provide effective and efficient control over the hotel assets, liabilities, revenue, and costs.
• Liaise and co-operate with both Internal and External Audit where required.
• Develop best practice financial accounting and control procedures, with continuous review and development with the aim of maximizing both impact and efficiency.
• Process monthly financial statements and report on these to the management as and when required.
• Review and authorize all payments to suppliers in accordance with cash flow availability.
