Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets, track financial performance against budgets, and provide insightful analysis. Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and projections.
3. Tax Compliance: Manage and oversee tax-related matters, including preparing and filing tax returns. Stay updated on relevant tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities.
4. Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation, explanations, and support to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.
5. Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records. Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
6. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial performance and trends.
7. Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards. Prepare and submit required regulatory reports accurately and on time.
8. Treasury Management: Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow, liquidity, and investment activities. Optimize banking relationships and explore opportunities to enhance financial performance.
Qualifications:
1. A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3. Proven experience as a Chartered Accountant in a reputable organization.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
6. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
8. High attention to detail and accuracy.
