Job Description

 

Staff  Supervision and Management:

  • Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise cafe staff, including baristas, servers, and kitchen personnel.
  • Ensure that staff adhere to cafe policies and  provide exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and address staffing needs.
  • overseeing all aspects of the cafe's operations
  • Possess  strong  leadership, customer service, financial Knowledge , and operational skills. 

 

Customer Service:

  • Create and maintain a welcoming and pleasant cafe environment for customers.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Ensure that staff are well-trained in customer service best practices.

 

Menu and Product Management:

  • Oversee menu development and pricing in collaboration with the kitchen staff and suppliers.
  • Ensure high-quality food and beverage offerings, consistency, and presentation.
  • Make adjustments to the menu to align with customer preferences and seasonal changes.

 

Financial Management:

  • Manage the cafe's budget, expenses, and financial performance.
  • Control costs by monitoring inventory, supplier relationships, and reducing waste.
  • Set pricing strategies and promotions to maximize profitability.

 

Operational Efficiency:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of daily tasks, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Implement efficient processes and systems to optimize workflow and minimize customer wait times.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the cafe.

 

Quality Control and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations, including licensing requirements.
