Job Description:

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities across all divisions of the TravHill group of companies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential target markets.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective business development strategies and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote the company's services.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and pitches to clients and partners.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure new business partnerships and collaborations.
  • Monitor and analyze market dynamics, competitor activities, and industry trends to identify emerging opportunities or threats.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the management team on business development activities, progress, and results.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to develop effective marketing strategies to support business growth.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market trends relevant to the group's businesses.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all business development activities.

Job Specification:

  • A Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in business development, strategic planning, or a related role within a diverse organization.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the travel and tourism industry, education consultancy, agriculture, and advertising sectors.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and evaluate business opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business priorities.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for business development, market research, and data analysis.
