Job Description:
We are looking for a Assistant Finance Officer to oversee all financial aspects of our organization and ensure the company's financial health and compliance with regulations. The Senior Finance Executive will play a key role in strategic decision-making and financial planning, guiding the company towards sustainable growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company policies.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to optimize financial resources and support business operations.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely and accurate reporting and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Provide strategic financial advice and guidance to senior management, including analysis of investment opportunities, cost reduction initiatives, and revenue enhancement strategies.
- Evaluate and recommend financial systems, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness in financial management and reporting.
- Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting the healthcare and finance sectors, and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software applications, such as Excel, ERP systems, and financial modeling software.
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
