Soaltee Westend Itahari owned by Hotel Garima Pvt. Ltd., a 5 star hotel is hiring for below position.

Position: Accountant/Sr. Accountant

• Check night auditor’s report for cash and credit sale.
• Check bank balance and daily city ledger  and cash collection, bank deposits of the previous day
• Check city ledger collection planning of day
• Plan suppliers scheduled payment and regular payment of regular bills of electricity, telephone and other fixed charges.
• Monitor market survey and Yield Test of perishable items and spoilage, shortage and breakages.
• Monitor petty cash and its disbursement to General Cashier, Front Cash and Purchase and ensure that all cash and valuables are kept in safety vaults.
• Check city ledger aging report as of the day and plan for its collection.
• Supervise deposit all cash collected from front cash and city ledger to house bank.
• Oversee bank reconciliation statement and other bank related issues.
• Ensure that vat bill is generated for all the transactions and statement and other statutory income details are filled with tax office on time.
• Oversee purchasing, stores, receiving and store operation on daily basis.
• Monitor inventory supplies to ensure proper levels without causing burdens on cash flows.
• Monitor departmental expenses of various departments on weekly basis.
• Conduct monthly inventory of supplies of all stores for consumption and store reconciliation and kitchen and bar stock for food and beverage consumption.
• Providing direction to the night audit team so as to ensure proper revenue reporting.
• Monthly closing of accounts.
• Preparation of Actual Month, Year to date and same period last year.
• Monthly financial Book Reconciliation.

Requirements:

• Minimum experience of 3 years in similar industry
• Must be graduate in relevant field.
