Job Description:

As an Accountant at Kabeli Hydropower Company Ltd, you will be an integral part of our finance team, responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, as well as knowledge of the hydropower industry and its specific financial requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. 
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. 
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections. 
• Monitor and analyze costs related to hydropower operations, including construction costs, operational expenses, and maintenance costs.
• Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, VAT, and other applicable taxes.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, such as investment analysis, project evaluation, and financial performance analysis.
