Job Requirements:
– At least Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting  with 1 year of experience
– Effective communication skills in English and Nepali
– Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Odoo, Tally, IMS
– Advanced MS Excel skills including Lookups and pivot tables
– Dynamic, Self-motivated, positive, polite, and willing to learn
– The demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously.
– Accuracy and attention to detail.

 

General Job Descriptions
We are looking for an Accountant in our company who will be responsible to provide a reconciliation of daily transactions, sales bills, purchase bill entries, payment plans, weekly, monthly & annual financial reports as per the company’s standard and make daily financial transactions. He or she must provide Monthly financial reports and maintain the cash flow ratio and update weekly receivables and payables.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:
– Update all financial data on a daily basis: revenues, expenses & other Transactions.
– Identifies cost overruns vs. target and recommends corrective action to the management
– Producing monthly error-free accounting reports such as PL and Balance Sheet and presenting their results
– Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status
– Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
– Help top-level management to prepare annual Budget & planning.
– Inventory assessment on the last day of the month
– Submit monthly VAT on a timely basis.
– Maintain sound communication with clients; payment follow ups
– Maintain all financial transactions on a timely basis & assist with internal & external Audits.
– Ensuring Statutory compliance
– Understand and document updates and changes in accounting law, bylaws, rules, and regulations.
– Update accounts receivable, Payables and issue invoices
– Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
– Preparation of monthly/yearly closings.

 

Key Performance Indicators:
– Monthly key financial data available for the management team at any period of time
– On-time salary payout according to the agreed schedule
– Provide timely payment to vendors as per the company’s rule
– Maintain inventory on a regular basis
– Manages Accounts Receivables and Payable ratio to ensure smooth cash flow of the company.
