Job Description:

As an Academic Counsellor, you will be instrumental in guiding students aspiring to pursue education in Canada. Your role will involve providing personalized counselling sessions, assisting students in selecting appropriate courses and universities, and ensuring they have the necessary information to embark on a successful academic journey in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct one-on-one academic counselling sessions with students, understanding their aspirations and academic interests.

- Assist students in choosing suitable courses, universities, and programs in Canada, aligning with their career goals.

- Provide detailed information about admission requirements, application procedures, scholarships, and visa processes for studying in Canada.

- Stay updated with the latest developments in the Canadian education system and immigration policies.

- Foster relationships with Canadian universities and educational institutions to facilitate seamless admissions processes for students.

- Organize seminars, workshops, and events to disseminate information about studying in Canada.

- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, applications, and outcomes.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Counselling, Education, or a related field.

- Previous experience in academic counselling, preferably for international students aspiring to study in Canada.

- In-depth knowledge of the Canadian education system, universities, and available programs.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Empathetic approach to understanding students’ needs and aspirations.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Knowledge of visa procedures and documentation for studying in Canada (preferred).
