South Asian Institute of Management (SAIM)

South Asian Institute of Management (SAIM College) is an independent academic institution that was established in Kathmandu in 2005 A.D and is currently under the chairmanship of Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani (Former Minister of Finance and Foreign Affairs). The purpose of establishment of SAIM College was to provide a need-based management education system and hence, enable the management development, research and consulting for the proper growth and development of managers, entrepreneurs, and business leaders in South Asia. This is, of course, due to the fact that South Asia is emerging as the most dynamic Asian regional economic center for global trade, investment and technological innovation.

SAIM College offers its academic programs that are affiliated with Pokhara University. It is dedicated to provide world class management education and training for the purpose of meeting the demands and necessities of the nations, both regionally and globally. The main mission that the college has is to develop managers, leaders and entrepreneurs with a strong sense of integrity and commitment through creation, preservation and dissemination of knowledge, keeping in perspective the South Asian values that best serve the interest of business, government, non-government organizations and society as-a-whole.
