Manmohan Memorial Institute of Health Sciences

Manmohan Memorial Institute of Health Sciences (MMIHS) was established in 2006 under the affiliation to Tribhuvan University (TU). The college is named after our former Prime Minister, Late Manmohan Adhikari, who was a great patriot and renowned leader of Nepal and South Asia. There are two wings, first, Manmohan Memorial Community Hospital and another, Manmohan Memorial Institute of Health Science (MMIHS) which is managed by Nepal Health care Co-Operative Limited (NEHCO-NEPAL). NEHCO is putting all its effort to provide practical as well as scientific education and quality health care service delivery through the cooperative initiatives. Manmohan Memorial Institute of Health Sciences is one of the leading institutes in an academic institute of applied health sciences. MMIHS intends to be the institution to provide expertise and knowledge for the students to learn both theoretical and practical aspects of our Nepalese context as there have been numerous cases of our youth left technically unskilled. Through the various co-curricular activities of this college, students will learn other personal qualities like self-reliance, self-confidence, discipline, leadership traits, value judgment, social service etc. Manmohan Memorial Institute of Health Sciences is intending to add three more programs and they are Master of Nursing (MN), Masters of Public Health (MPH) and Master in Pharmacy (M Pharm).
