Job Description

The Yoga Teacher will be responsible for contributing to the school's positive environment, taking initiatives for student/school development while coming with creativity and solutions, meeting parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress, and determining children’s priorities and resource needs.

• Conduct and lead yoga classes.
• Design yoga programs that are age-appropriate for students in various grade levels.
• Capacity to establish a good rapport with students and foster a helpful learning environment.
• Create and maintain lesson plans for yoga classes.
• Evaluate student’s physical condition and specific needs, and recommend appropriate exercises. 
• Visually assess students to determine their level of practice.
• Work together with class teachers and other wellness specialists to advance general well-being.
• Plan and direct yoga classes or activities for school-wide projects or special occasions.
• Ability to connect with students and create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Provide training suggestions to enhance yoga practice.
• Genuine passion for promoting health and well-being through the practice of yoga.
