Job Description
- Plan and undertake preventive maintenance of Captive Power Plant (CPP), diesel generation and power systems.
- Monitor utility systems to ensure efficient operation, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and implement corrective actions as necessary to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for central utility equipment to ensure reliability, longevity, and compliance with manufacturer recommendations.
- Conduct routine inspections and equipment checks, identifying potential issues and addressing them proactively to prevent unplanned outages.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies related to utility operations.
- Implement energy conservation measures and sustainability initiatives to reduce utility consumption, minimize environmental impact, and lower operating costs.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and equipment upgrades to improve energy efficiency and sustainability performance.
- Lead and mentor a team of utility operators and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and continuous skill development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in utility operations and maintenance, preferably in a brewery or manufacturing environment.
- Power distribution and steam generation Instrumentation and control systems
- Knowledge of CAD software like AutoCAD
- Safety and environmental compliance
- Troubleshooting skills Key Conceptual Skills
- Project management , Communication and presentation, Problem-solving and Decision making skills.
