Job Description

  • Sales & Distribution Management: Drive sales and distribution by implementing consumer and trade marketing strategies. Collaborate with the Head of sales to align sales strategies and ensure clear communication of company goals. Enhance brand visibility and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Territory Planning & Management: Develop sales and distribution plans for your assigned territories. Execute trade programs to the highest standards, optimizing resources and adapting to changing market conditions.
  • Team Development and Performance: Coach and support your team members to help them reach their full potential. Set individual targets, provide guidance, and monitor their performance. Ensure the team achieves key performance indicators related to trade, distribution, and volume programs.
  • Sub-Distributor Management: Collaborate with sub-distributors to manage primary sales and maintain appropriate inventory levels. Monitor claims and ensure adherence to agreed credit terms. Conduct regular meetings to align programs and plans.
  • Analysis & Problem Solving: Identify and address challenges by analyzing data, forming hypotheses, and implementing action plans. Continuously evaluate progress and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Field Intelligence and Data Gathering: Monitor market data, including industry trends, distribution, and point-of-sale information. Collect valuable insights to inform decision-making.
  • Processes & Policies: Ensure strict compliance with established sales processes and internal controls. Monitor sub-distributor compliance with claim processes.

 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-4 years experience in FMCG sales or field trade marketing.
  • Bachelor's Degree Graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Leadership: 1 to 2 years of people management experience.
  • Presentation Skills: Excellent ability to develop and deliver impactful presentations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the FMCG retail landscape.
