Qualification, skills and Experience Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognised Institution having minimum 3-5 years of experience in Water Supply Projects.
• Demonstrate high-level experiences in project management, and resource mobilization.
• Prefer to project handling, Monitoring, Controlling, Communicating etc. in Site.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
• Experienced working with different societies and local populations to complete the works within deadline.
• High level of computer literacy- MS Word, Excel.
• Driving skills would be an added advantage.

Languages:

• Fluency in English, Nepali is required.
• Working Knowledge of local languages would be an added advantage.

Age: 22 – 40

Roles and Responsibility:

Shall function as a professional, operational and Sub Engineer with responsibility for implementing tasks of designated project under the overall supervision, directions & guidelines of Project Engineer & Site engineer in the coordination with all the staffs at sites. The responsibilities will include the following:

• Supervise & monitor the site work regularly.
• Prepare the daily progress report.
• Plan the execution of the work.
• Improve work methods are produces.
• Filling in measurement book.
• Quality check of the construction material and quality control of labor works.
• Supervision of Respective site as per plan, track the progress and submission of Daily work progress.
• Request for the supply of required goods and material in time in order to achieve the project manager plan.
• Up to date record keeping of quantity of assets available in site and use them more effectively and efficiently.
• Stay up to date with relevant regulations and ensure that your organization is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to water supply.
• Preparation of Payment bill of vendors for their respective site as per contract agreement.
• Carryout survey and layout for construction works in site.
• Carryout joint survey and all other survey works (line, levels, cut slopes etc.).
• Documenting survey data and updating if any change.
• Taking measurements of the work done, record in the measurement book and submit to site engineer.
• Any other task assigned by Project engineer.
• Overall, as a Water Supply Sub Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that communities have access to clean and safe water, and you will need to have strong technical, communication, and project management skills to succeed in this role.
