- Master’s degree or higher in management, demography, statistics, social sciences or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in monitoring and evaluating large, multi-year development projects
- Experience and understanding of the FCDO and its reporting system (preferred).
Job Description
- The key responsibilities of the SEP Monitoring and Evaluation Director is as follows:
- Lead the Impact Evaluation of 8 partnerships across the manufacturing, agriculture, and financial sector, using the already developed evaluation framework, including:
- Coordinating data from different team members, and from partners
- Lead data collection, management and analysis, including cost-benefit analysis
- Lead report writing, including overseeing contributions from other team members
- Facilitate presentation of interim findings, discussion of lessons learnt and recommendations
- Coordinate all MEL capacity-building activities with project staff, implementing partners and facility staff
- Ensure quality of data through data verification procedures including routine data quality audits and that these are routinely carried out during the project lifecycle
- Oversee the project performance and results, including routine service delivery data reporting, and monitoring for process and outcome evaluations, including that of individual projects/models
- Lead results reporting to FCDO by providing written documentation on MEL activities and indicator results for progress and annual reports, as appropriate.
