Responsibilities:

• Perform in-depth keyword research using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify SEO ranking opportunities
• Optimize on-page elements including page titles, meta descriptions, headers, image alt text, content etc.
• Create optimized content strategies for blog, product pages, and other website copy
• Implement technical SEO best practices like site speed optimizations, XML sitemaps, alt tags etc.
• Build high-quality backlinks through content marketing, outreach, partnerships etc.
• Perform regular SEO audits using tools like Screaming Frog and Google Search Console
• Identify and fix crawl errors, indexation issues and other technical problems
• Monitor organic KPIs like rankings, traffic, conversions and analyze performance
• Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and adjust SEO strategies accordingly
• Generate reports on SEO progress and insights on monthly basis
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to maximize SEO impact.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience doing SEO for e-commerce websites
• Expert-level knowledge of both on-page and off-page SEO best practices
• Experience with advanced SEO tools like Ahrefs, Moz, SEMrush, Screaming Frog etc.
• Proficiency in Google Analytics and Search Console
• Strong analytical mindset with data-driven approach to optimization
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to convey SEO recommendations clearly
• Utmost attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize urgent tasks
• Bonus: Experience with Shopify platform.
