Position: Senior Programme Officer (Disaster Risk Reduction) for IFRC – American Red Cross
Qualification: Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in project management. Should have demonstrated experience in project formulator, planning, monitoring and narrative reporting using community-based and participatory approaches.
Responsibilities: Sr. Programme Officer (DRR) will technically support the Country Manager and NRCS in planning, implementation, monitoring, lesson learnt documentation and reporting as per project documents; log frame; budget, implementation plans; NRCS, IFRC and American Red Cross policies; national guidelines and donor requirements ensuring the quality of outcomes. The position will be responsible for the coordination of projects’ field activities and engagements with NRCS to facilitate the planning and implementation of project activities as per the programme expectation outlined in project agreement and Strategic Partnership Plan (SPP) ultimately contributing to IFRC goals.
