Job Description:
- Develop and implement the organization's IT strategy in alignment with its overall business objectives
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure
- Manage and support academic and administrative systems such as information system, LMS, FMS, and other software applications in use for the faculty, staff, students, and other stakeholders
- Establish and execute security policies, procedures, and practices to protect the college databases
- Lead and manage IT projects within the college
- Manage relations with IT vendors and service providers on behalf of GCI and
- Any other jobs assigned by the college management.
Job Specification:
Required Qualifications and Experiences
- Master's Degree in Information Technology (IT) with 2 years of work experience or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology with 5 years of work experience in the relevant field.
- Having a solid foundation in various IT domains including networking, systems administration, database management, cyber security, and software applications relevant to higher education
- Equipped with strategic mindset to align IT initiatives with the college's academic and administrative objectives
- Must have a solid understanding of information security principles and practices in the context of higher education
- Open to learning and updated with evolving technologies and trends in the education sector in real time situations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, networking, negotiation, and facilitation skills and
- Willing to undertake additional responsibilities, perform multiple tasks and work under pressure.
