Examination and Application Details

  • Examination Types: The selection process includes a written test, a computer skill test, experimental tasks, group discussions, case studies, and presentations, followed by an interview according to the post's requirements.

  • Examination Venue: All assessments will be conducted in Kathmandu.

  • Application Deadline: Candidates can submit their applications until 2080.09.26. For those paying a double fee, the extended deadline is 2080.10.04.

 

Age Criteria for Applicants

  1. For Level 4 and 5 posts: Applicants must be at least 18 years old and not exceed 35 years.
  2. For Level 6 and 7 posts: The age limit is set at 21 to 35 years.
  3. For Level 8 and above: The maximum age limit is 40 years.
  4. Age relaxation applies to women and disabled candidates up to 40 years.
  5. Employees who are permanent staff of the fund are exempt from the age limit.

 

Examination Fee Structure

  • Level 11: The fee is Rs. 2,000. An additional Rs. 500 is required for each extra group applied for.
  • Levels 9 and 10: A fee of Rs. 1,500 is set, with Rs. 400 for each additional group.
  • Level 8: Applicants must pay Rs. 1,200, plus Rs. 400 for each extra group.
  • Level 6: The fee is Rs. 1,000 with an additional Rs. 300 for each group.
  • Level 5: A fee of Rs. 600 is required, plus Rs. 200 for every additional group.
  • Level 4: The application fee is Rs. 400, with Rs. 150 for each additional group.

Payment of Examination Fee

  • Submission Method: Candidates must pay the examination or double fee online through Khalti, eSewa, or Connect IPS after applying online.

  • Timing: Payment should be made within office hours on the day following the application deadline. If this day falls on a public holiday, then payment should be completed on the next official working day.

  • Bank Details: Payments must be deposited to Prime Bank Limited, account number 00101000059400199, under the name of the Social Security Fund.

 

Employment Terms

  • Probation Period: The probationary terms will comply with Regulation 32 of the Social Security Fund (Employee Administration) Regulations, 2075.

Examination Administration

  • Written Examination: The Public Service Commission will administer the written examination.

Minimum qualification required

(a) Internal Competition:

Those who have fulfilled the qualifications according to sub-regulation (3) of regulation 38 of Social Security Fund Staff Administration Regulations 2075.

 

b) Open and inclusive:

Senior Assistant Director, Administration, Finance, Expert (Investment and Risk Analyst): Graduated from a recognized educational institution with master's degree in management including accounting or Finance or commerce or master's degree in economics or equivalent and F. R.A. (Financial Risk Analyst) or C.F.A. (Chartered Financial Analyst) course and registered under any government service or prevailing law Having acquired five years of working experience in an official level position of an organization or an organized organization or an international association.

 

Special notice for Internal Competition, open and inclusive examination:

(a) Complete all the details to be filled in the online form prescribed by the fund along with the certificate of Nepali citizenship and the transcript of the minimum educational qualification prescribed for the applicant's post, character certificate, and in case of educational qualification obtained from other countries other than Nepal, along with it the certificate from Tribhuvan University determining its equivalence. It is advised to scan/attach a passport-size photo and fill out the online application form within 21 (twenty-one) days from the date of first publication of this notice in Gorkhapatra and after that double fee is paid within 7 (seven) days. After the application is included, the application will be accepted only after verification by the fund and then the candidate will have to print the admit card himself. While appearing in the exam, candidates must bring the admit card, otherwise they will not be included in the exam.

 

(b) The candidate will upload only one copy of the required educational certificate to be submitted. The serving employees have to submit the departmental approval letter of the organization they are serving. If the online form is filled with false information, the candidate will be responsible for it. No action will be taken on applications that are not filed within the deadline and are not received properly.

 

(c) The examination fee for rejected application forms will not be refunded.

 

(d) For all the advertised posts, the application should be submitted through the online system only. Online application form can be filled from vacancy.ssf.gov.np website of the fund: ssf.gov.np. If there is any doubt while filling out the online application form, contact the given phone number.

 

Additional documents and experience to be submitted by the candidate

 

(I) Additional documents to be submitted by candidates for inclusion:

Candidates applying for inclusion must also upload the following documents.

(a) In the case of tribal tribes, the application will be approved based on the list of castes listed in the Nepal Adivasi Janajati Upliftment National Foundation Act. However, if there is more than one surname within the caste listed under the National Foundation for the Upliftment of Nepalese Tribal Tribes Act, the application must be certified by the Chief District Officer as a surname within the caste listed on the recommendation of the head of the local body concerned.

 

(b) In the case of Madhesi, the application will be accepted on the basis that the government of Nepal publishes a notice in the Nepal Gazette and certifies that they are Madhesi from a designated institution, but until the institution is designated by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette, the application must be submitted with a document certified as Madhesi by the Chief District Officer on the recommendation of the head of the relevant local body.

 

(II) For candidates requiring experience:

(a) Appointment letter or contract and service period of such letter regarding the experience of working at the authorized level in the following bodies:

Letter from concerned authority attested

1) Civil and other government bodies,

2) An organized organization wholly or partially owned by the Government of Nepal,

3) Development Committee constituted as per Development Committee Act, 2013,

4) Institution or body established by Ain,

5) The United Nations, its organs and specialized agencies,

6) Intergovernmental Regional and International Organizations,

7) University campus,

8) community school,

 

(b) In addition to the letter of appointment or contract regarding the experience of other bodies other than those mentioned in clause (a) and the letter of the relevant body where the service has been verified, the procedure, qualifications, organization, structure, and service conditions of the staff included in such body, including the rules or Only the experience that is required by the regulations or guidelines or procedures and is confirmed to have been admitted at the authorized level in accordance with such rules or regulations or guidelines or procedures will be recognized.

(c) Regarding the experience of government employees working in other organized organizations, the prior approval letter and the leave approval letter for that period, if the government employee has worked in the agency, only the experience of working full time will be counted. Only then such experience will be recognized.

(d) Two or more in the same period.

(e) If it is mentioned in the appointment letter or contract that working as part-time, that experience will not be recognized.

(f) Temporary or contractual service experience of less than one year shall not be counted.

(g) The experience of serving at the official level while holding a position at the assistant level will not be recognized.

(h) If the official level is not opened from the designation mentioned in the appointment letter or contract, the concerned body must submit a letter certifying that the position is of an authorized level.

(i) If the candidate does not have the above-mentioned proof documents within the time of applying, the application can be canceled at any time.

 

Note:

(a) In case of advertisements requiring a period of experience, the minimum period of service is on the last date of receipt of applications prescribed for the post concerned. Must be completed. Double duty period shall not be counted for age, educational qualification, experience period, and other qualifications.

(b) Candidates requesting an assistant writer should contact the office at least 7 (seven) days before the commencement of the written examination. Otherwise, the contributor will not be obliged to provide the author.

(c) Candidates must compulsorily reveal the details of the category/group for which they are candidates in the prescribed format in the admit card, otherwise they will not be included in the examination.

(d) If any action has been taken by the Public Service Commission regarding irregularity in the examination, in the event that the person has not been able to participate in any examination conducted by the Commission for a certain period, then that period should have passed.

(e) Candidates must use black ink only in the written examination, otherwise, the answer sheet will be canceled.
