Qualifications/Skills
A Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a similar field. Background in Supply Chain Management Logistics or a related field having a minimum of 5 years of proven experience. Proficiency in supply chain management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems will be preferable.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements.
- Manage relationships with existing suppliers, addressing issues and seeking continuous improvement.
- Monitor and control procurement budgets
- Implement best practices in procurement and supply chain management
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
