Job Description

The Science Teacher will be responsible for contributing to the school's positive environment, taking initiatives for student/school development while coming with creativity and solutions, meeting parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress, and determining children’s priorities and resource needs.

• Including thematic/integrated approaches to organizing teaching-learning activities while fostering creativity while learning and promoting critical thinking and problem solving.
• Provide students with timely and constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
• Create lesson plans that include different teaching methods for different learning styles. Using art, research, extra reading and a variety of activities into lesson delivery as much as possible.
• Recording students’ behaviors/skills/strengths/ weaknesses through thorough documentation. 
• Initiating interaction with students – developing a positive relationship with students without appearing biased to anyone while providing accurate, timely, and specific feedback to all.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom that encourages curiosity and passion for science.
• Demonstrating a strong command over the subject matter and its relevance to real life situations. 
• Conducting continuous assessments and preparing standard report cards/observation reports to share with parents.
• Actively communicating with parents on the progress of their child along with any challenges/achievements they may have experienced.
