As a Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Your primary responsibility will be to greet and assist patients, schedule appointments, handle phone calls, manage patient records, and support the dental team in delivering high-quality care. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and professional individual with exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.

 

  • Proven work experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role
  • Proficient in using computer applications and electronic medical records systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Nepali/English
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and active listening
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, positively representing the company
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling challenging situations with composure and tact.

 

Job Description:

  • Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression of the dental clinic
  • Answer and manage incoming calls, address inquiries, and schedule appointments efficiently
  • Manage the appointment book, ensuring optimal scheduling and maximizing the use of dental providers' time
  • Verify patient information and update records accurately in the electronic medical records system
  • Handle patient registration, consent forms, and insurance information in compliance with established protocols
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring patient comfort and privacy
  • Assist patients with completing required forms and provide relevant dental information as needed
  • Coordinate with dental assistants, hygienists, and dentists to ensure a smooth patient flow and timely service
  • Respond to patient queries regarding treatment plans, services, and billing, providing clear and accurate information
  • Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately
  • Manage and maintain office supplies, including ordering and restocking as necessary
  • Support dental providers and staff with administrative tasks as assigned
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns promptly and professionally.
