Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost management, preferably in the construction industry or project management consultancy.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Conduct cost analysis and comparisons to identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
- Develop procurement strategies and plans for construction materials, equipment, and services in consultation with project stakeholders.
- Issue tender documents, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
- Administer construction contracts, including reviewing contract terms and conditions, processing variations, and managing contractual disputes and claims.
