Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with implementing partners (IPs) and prepare psychosocial counseling sessions plan in consultation with technical monitor and Provincial Coordinators.
- Conduct onsite/virtual sessions of psychosocial counselling to IP’s staff as per the approved plan.
- To conduct individual or group psychosocial counselling session to IP staff.
- Observe psychosocial sessions conducted by Case Managers and provide onsite feedback for further improvement in providing psychosocial counseling.
- Support in psychosocial assessment conducted by EpiC Nepal.
- Facilitate psychosocial counseling sessions in training.
- Conduct continuous medical education (CME) on selected mental health and psychosocial counseling topics to IP staff.
- Provide distant psychosocial counseling support to beneficiaries if required.
- Coordinate with the psychiatrists at the provincial level as per need.
- Prepare report of the conducted psychosocial counselling session, monitoring of counseling and share with the technical monitor.
- Carry on other relevant activities assigned by the technical monitor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree relevant subject with at least six months of accredited psychosocial counseling training
- Prior work experience in the field of psychosocial counseling. Experience working with vulnerable and marginalized population will be preferred
- Excellent communication, social, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
